Typically, regular employees (those who are not inbox owners, admins, or super admins in hints) only interact with the submission page.

When shared as a URL, your submission page might look something like this:

Let's explore the fields on the submission page:

Subject: This is the title of the whistleblower's submission.

Description: A detailed account of the incident. Encourage employees to provide as much detail as possible to expedite the follow-up process and minimize the need for additional information.
Password: This password is created by the reporting employee and must be used to access this submission in the future.

PIN: A PIN is set by the admin, super admin, or inbox owner for each submission channel to prevent misuse of the inbox (more information available here). 

 

What happens after a submission is made?

For the inbox owner, admin, or super admin, the new submission will appear as a new issue within the submission channel and will also show up in the notifications. (Learn more in the article How to handle issues

Although submissions are made anonymously, the whistleblower can still check replies to their submission later on.

Once the submission is complete, a pop-up window will appear, providing the whistleblower with a link. This link allows them to return to their submission at any time to check on responses. The page will be protected by the password they have set, which is why it is crucial for them to store this password in a secure place.
