A submission channel is the skeleton of work in hints. You can create various submission channels for different topics: For project feedback, continuous improvement, whistleblowing etc.

Only admins can create a submission channel and there is always one inbox owner, who is the person responsible for incoming issues and managing the submission channel members.

This article will take you through the steps of creating a new submission channel.

First, navigate to "Configuration" in your sidebar:

Choose the tab "Submission Channels" and click on the "Add" button located right under your profile avatar.

A pop-up window will open. Set up your submission page details such as name, URL, external Name (The name your employees will see on the submission page) and an explain text.

You can also customise your submission page here: Choose your main color and upload your logo to match your Corporate Design.

Don't forget to set a secure PIN, which you can then share in your company in order to avoid external use of the inbox.

Important: Choose a strong PIN and regularly change the PIN to keep your submission channel safe from misusage. Store the PIN at a place where only your employees can reach it. Otherwise, it could be leaked by competitors, ex-employees or others, who want to harm you by misguiding you with wrong reports.

If you need Custom fields, you can also create those.

Then, assign all users to the inbox, who need access.

And that's it - you've created your submission channel successfully and can now share it within your company.
