If hints is anonymous, you might be wondering: How can the employee know of a new reply related to their submission?

At hints, it is crucial for us not to collect any personal data from the reporting individual. This ensures they can trust the system completely and report misconduct without fear of retaliation.

Here’s how hints enables whistleblowers to return to their submissions:

1. After the submission is made, a pop-up window will open, allowing the person to copy the link directing them back to the submission.

2. When re-visiting the URL, the reporter first needs to enter the password they have set when making the submission. This is how the submission page is secured.

3. After submitting the password, the person will be directed to the submission page, where they can now see the timestamp and replies (made by the inbox owner/admin/super admin).

It is not yet possible for the whistleblower to reply back.
In case you need further information, you can ask the employee in your reply to submit the additional information needed with a new submission.
